The gap
In Egypt the ICT sector is growing but not as fast as it could! Despite having a competitive price advantage compared to other regional players, the industry growth in Egypt is hampered as companies fail to locate and attract the right employees. Meanwhile, 50.000 young people graduate annually in Egypt, bringing fresh and new ICT-related knowledge and skills to the labour market. This website will help ICT-graduates and ICT companies find each other, as well as offer tips and tricks on how to ease the recruitment process moving forward.
The task
This gap has been identified as a result of interviews and surveys amongst 1200 young graduates and 150 ICT companies in Egypt. The study is done by the Federation of Egyptian Industry, Voluntas Advisory and the Confederation of Danish Indsutry under the inclusive Economic Growth Program funded by the European Commission.
The solution
The survey resulted in various recommendations both towards the young graduates themselves, the universities, the ICT companies and industry as well as the government. On this website you can find the full report and the recommendations. But we also made it easy for the ICT-graduates and companies to find each other with tips and tricks on how to ease the recruitment process moving forward.
