The Consortium Partners

This study is conducted by a consortium of partners; the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), the Federation of Egyptian Industry/Environmental ‎Compliance Office (FEI/ECO) and Voluntas Advisory under a grant from the European Commission under the “Inclusive Economic Growth Program in Egypt” for a period of 24 months (1st of June 2018 to 31 of May 2020). The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) is Denmark’s largest, most representative and most influential business and employers’ organisation, covering manufacturing as well as service industries across sectors such as transport, energy, IT, health, construction, trade and professional services. DI has almost 1.000 employees across offices in Copenhagen, Brussels, Moscow, Mumbai, Munich, Nairobi, New York, Sao Paolo, Shanghai and Washington.

The Federation of Egyptian Industries – The Environmental Compliance Office & Sustainable Development (FEI / ECO) was established at the Federation of Egyptian Industries as an independent centre of excellence for Sustainable Development and Energy Efficiency.  ECO is the partner in the project and offers FEI members services within energy efficiency, environmental, health and safety, gender equality, SDG’s assistance and Circular Economy. In addition, FEI’s CIT Chamber is engaged in the project. The CIT Chamber focusses on export, investments in the ICT sector and the ease of doing business.

Voluntas Advisory is a consulting firm specializing in survey design, implementation and analysis in the Middle East and North Africa region. Voluntas Advisory is headquartered in Copenhagen with a regional office in Tunis. In the project, Voluntas is responsible for the survey design, methodology, dialogue with the local survey company, Pristiq Consulting, analysis and survey conclusions.
